Trans help!!!

Paw in law just got a 01 7.3. Just recently intalled mbrp exhast. I know the echaust shouldnt have any effect. We Fire it up and now the truck will onlt go forward. Does not matter if its in rev or neutral. Changed the fluid and still no change. Any ideas?

The linkage may have been disconnected. When moving the shift handle does the lever on the side of the trans move? Does the lever on the side of the trans move the shaft that it is attached to?

Yep. Pulled the pan and checked it internal as well.

Been doing some research. Think it may be the forward drum. What yall think?

I agree, it's the forward clutch.
