Intake side would be a little harder to pinpoint without help from a friend to help listen while building boost maybe? Use a cone or funnel up to your ear to pinpoint when you do hear it. Or cover areas with your hand for sound changes. but for starters I'd just check boots for cracks. Maybe someone could chime in on if brake clean or something similar is safe to shoot bursts of it around intake? Works well with gas engines and fortunately all of my boost leaks have been on exhaust side so far with diesels and I'm a noob and still learning quite a bit on these.
