The whole canned tunes thing is a total joke... People need to understand they are all canned tunes unless you are live tuned or have special revisions made. If you call up Swamps and ask for a TS chip for an NVK truck, they are not going to sit down and write you 6 new tunes for "joe blows" truck. They will drag and drop from there file of NVK tunes and click burn. Same thing if you get a TS chip from EBAYPERFORMACE... The difference is TS has not updated there tuning in years, as Tim mentioned most are over a decade old. Wildman, Swamps, PHP, Powerstruck, Gearhead, DI, and on and on... These guys are continuing to adjust, tweak and play with there tuning. The Hydra is the best hardware on the market. It comes with access to some of the best (arguably) tuning on the market. HOWEVER... If you dont like a tune that you pull off the server, you can delete it and load another one yourself... Want to try a Gearhead tune, make a call and a few hours later you have a tune in your inbox... a few minutes later and its on your chip. Hydra. End of story.
