According to Tim and Jim nobody knows how to tune a 200% nozzle or greater without sitting in each and every truck, and from what I gathered, not even then listening to those two ramble on and on about it. We can just fix that right up. I would already have a dozen or so files up. I would just toss them up as I was working through them and if anybody wanted to fix anything they didn't like..... they could! I would also have a couple of files for VDH up that anyone with trans tuning experience might be able to look at and possibly garner something useful. There are a number of people that could do a number of things better in my programs than I'm doing. And according to the horror stories, there are a number of people in dire need of help that I, if nobody else, could easily give based on what I'm hearing. And I'm no 200 specialist. The same concept I've been tuning them with was learned on 300's and 400's. They're all the same to tune with each one being a bit further down the same road, as you would expect. In my experience it's all very cut and dry. Something will occasionally hang me up for a few days and I'll drive around thinking about it and eventually conceptualize what the engine is doing and why it's happening. It's always something I've screwed up in a map somewhere. And it's never something "special" to my truck. At least not that I've seen. I've tuned 3 of them now and they've all responded the same. I don't see that changing except on trucks that are broken. If we can collectively produce a large nozzle file bank all the bs'ing can stop. And people can choose the nozzle they need, instead of one they think somebody might be willing to tune. If there was a big pile of public files here, people could rest assured that something would meet their needs. If not..... the same people that produced the list could tweak it a bit for their preferences, 99% of which I see being trans related.
