I know that Toomanytoys on the org has done some testing between and according to the verbiage on this post it may have happened from an amperage usage perspective, post 34 https://www.powerstroke.org/forum/general-6-0l-discussion/1283154-putting-6-7-starter-6-0-a-4.html#post16347129 I posted this: I did measure my batteries today and at 42* they were resting at 12.7v, truck hadn't been driven in a week. I started up after the GP light went off and saw a low of 10.9v for almost 1.5 sec before the truck turned over. They rebounded to 12.4v for almost 24 secs before the alternator kicked on, then it jumped to 13.6v on the CTS2 and 14v on the volt meter. I recall reading in a few different threads of someone using both and the 6.7 did actually turn the motor over about 100rpms more than the 6.4. This weekend it was 34* and unplugged, no battery charger, the truck fired at approximately 1.4sec per my phone timer. It turns over significantly faster. I just happened to find a 2018 very low miles and cheap so that combined w/ some others thinking the 6.7 was a bit better was my reason for the 6.7 vs 6.4.
