I have had good luck with precision gates on my dodge where they are out in the open and out of the heat. My gate also only gets actuated when I spray it, so its get very little use. If its gonna be in a location where there is alot of radiant heat around it and where it is going to be actuated alot, I prefer the tial water cooled gates. When I set them up I use air regulators. I have ran the AMS 500 controller but didn't get the results I wanted out of them and they take alot more to fine tune them in. I prefer to keep it simple with a gate that has around 1.0 bar of spring in it with regulated boost to the top to adjust it and full boost to the bottom. Its also alot nicer if you run the regulator into the cab to make adjustments from the driver seat. Not necessary by any means but makes on the fly adjustments alot faster. I also have started paint marking the regulators with different colors on the dial to make fast adjustments when going between fuel and nitrous runs.
