Buy this kit and use a drill https://zephyrpro40.com/products/29-8-piece-buffing-kit.html For sanding I used a DA sander and stuck some 400 grit paper on to get the pitting out then the brown rouge bar and yellow pad that comes with that kit will polish it out from there. I though I had to go higher grit as well with the sand paper but it took the 400 marks right out. If you start with 1000 you will never get the pitting out you will have to start with a lower grit than that. This is sanded at 400 and then one pass with brown rouge with a yellow pad, the other rouges that come in the kit give it a fine polish that makes it like chrome. These wheels had some scratches in them I had to take out.
