Tape over the reverse light lens. Take a sharp exact-o knife and cut the masking tape around the outline of the reverse light lens. Then spray two light coats of SEM (or similar brand) plastic adhesion promoter. Finish off by spraying the tinted clear coat mixture mentioned in the above post. Continue adding as many coats until you reach your desired darkness. For me I found that: 1 coat is a light tint, 2 coats is a medium tint, 3 coats a dark tint, and 4 coats is basically black.
