The guy that built it is a great local builder. He builds for the local Ford dealer and some kickass drag cars and everything in between. I had him order me a billet triple disc torque converter too. And beef up everything he possibly could inside it. Well the install went good. Put fluid in and fired the truck. Let it idle about 10 minutes or so while I topped off the fluid. Went to put it in gear when it hit reverse it went in and immediately made a popping noise and started whining (like a really loud power steering pump whine) and won't do anything! I'm pretty sure the torque converter stripped splines. It does it anytime the trucks running. So it's coming back out! Yaayyy me!:cursing: [/QUOTE]
