I know a good regulated return is worth it's weight in gold on a 99 and up truck, even with stock injectors, I've seen stock trucks benefit in idle quality and throttle response. I don't think it's hpop related or it would idle worse as the oil temps increased. Have tried swapping an oil temp sensor, or checking to see if there is oil in the plug of the ICP sensor as well?
