Pro60's are definitely a great set of speakers, but I wouldn't spend the money on them unless they will be getting amped at some point. I just see it as spending a good chunk of change on some huge injectors but without a fuel system or turbo or any supporting mods. One thing I would add is as you separate the tweeters from the drivers you just want to remember to try and keep the path lengths as equal as you can otherwise you will start getting audible timing separation of the highs and lows. If you can't adjust for time alignment in the HU or processor or take care of it through phasing then there should be some careful consideration of where the tweeters get mounted. Just a tape measure to get path lengths, or use some double sided tape or hot glue and play around with various mounting locations for the tweeters and give them a good listen in each place. I would say 6.5's, in my opinion bigger is better, if I had the time right now I would be hacking up my doors to install some 8's but for now the 6.5's will have to do. Remember cone area is directly related to overall output, and also to low end response/authority. A larger cone will play lower frequencies easier, think a diesel vs a gas in getting a load moving. also check out www.sonicelectronix.com and www.woofersetc.com As for mounting the tweeters, it would probably be the easiest to just grab some factory sail panels from a truck with the higher end stereo. They come with tweeters mounted in the pods, so you can just remove the factory tweeter and mount yours behind the pod and have a factory look. Or you could build your own without much trouble and with that get a little bit of aiming built in too. This is what I built years back, its pretty simple Again I would worry about time alignment, but if you test it out in that spot and you can't pick up any separation with your ear, then go for it.
