zf6 shift knob

Hey guys I searched the forum for this topic but no luck so far

What is everyone doing for a shift knob? I hit 250k today and my shift knob broke into three pieces. So is everyone else just going back to a factory piece or upgrading? If upgrading are there any pics?

Are short throw shifters worth it? Not looking to lower track times just looking to possibly upgrade.

A short throw will close up the gaps between the gears. I've never gotten one buts its always on my list

I like my short throw shifter, got it from Midwest.
I didn't click the link, bought mine from a guy in the classifieds. Real nice shifter, about 2/3? bigger than the stockerwespent! :blitzed:

I have one just like in the link. Only complaint about it is that in Texas heat, that knob gets insane hot.

short throw and shift knob

I got my midwest trans short throw. Reuses the stick shifter. I bought a new ford knob as the old one split.

The midwest short throw is awesome. One of the best things I did on my truck.
