Talked to the machine shop today... 4 bent rods and he's located 2 short blocks to hopefully get a good crank out of.

No kidding. He keeps saying he is not the one working on the motor him self, his partner is so he just goes by what he says. So understandable. But he was recommend by a good friend who I trust.

Well then that guy probably doesn't know.
But I'm sure the "guy that does the work" does.
Just sucks to have to get DIRECT at times.
Cause then your the bad guy if they don't want to show / explain.
Been there.....bought a few of those tee shirts.....from a Friend type deal.
I will say, I've never been more FKed over then by a good ol friend.
But I'm pretty cynical, so don't pay much attention.....I'm sure when you get there it will all add up

The owner showed me around the shop, explained their processes, equipment, and even showed me some cool carnage. Needless to say I felt comfortable leaving my motor with him. Let's just hope I'm not getting the run around.
I guess I need to be patient. It was 2-3 weeks when I dropped it off, now I'm estimating 2-3 weeks from today judging from out phone conversation.... I just want my effing motor back cause I'm tired of sitting in the cab on the lift.
Yes, I miss it so much I sit in the drivers seat while the cabs in the air lol.

Went and talked to the machine shop. Crank has a gash in it not sure what from. Rods are bent just a hair, and the portion where it connects to the crank is to far gone. Hopes to have it ready in 2 weeks max
