Get that off the truck and looked at!! If it is a shaft seal it can blow right out and run away.... think buying new engine....

And it's and on off device so if you find your self on ice you can run it open and save yourself a trip into the ditch, if your running out of 4x4 The plus side to a true trac is there is no need to flip switch's, or forget to turn it off....and works as smoothly as your foot is to the peddle.

If you getting that much fluid in the can, and you not having the engine oil level drop, that leaves 2 things, it's not oil or your building oil due to fuel in the crank case. I don't ever see the oil seal on the turbo going out and pressurizing the crank case as there isn't enough oil feed...

Yes and 7.3 need to spun higher to make the power for heavy towing so that wouldn't be much of an apple to apple comparison.
