They pulled it out and said the entire rear end is destoryed and ring/pinion said that fluid looked like mud.... as ive stated before i dont know nearly enough for all this. i appreciate everyones help. the thing is i drove truck in knowing rear end was going out but hasnt quit out on me so i...

to be honest i dont know what the ratio is. Iam just getting into the mechanical side of the house and not fully understanding it all yet i can PM you my VIN if that helps

they are saying to replace entire pumpkin and ring/pinion its that much. bill says labor 180 differential 2240 and bearing kit like 405

Yet more money being poured into this truck only had a year and now following this repair it will be about 6k put in just to keep it going. I hate to say it but I believe I have lost faith in this truck. Currently getting charged about 3K just replace differential

FICM wiring harness

well luckily it went away since i was last on here but will continue research so i can be prepared for when it happens again i appreciate the help. i currently have a livewire tuner you think that could read while driving? im pretty new to this and trying to learn as much as possible...

FICM wiring harness

I check the harness its clicked in fine everytime I drive and hit bump or any hill my water in fuel light comes on as well as glow plug light also before when it gave me the problem I lost taillights ad dashlights it keeps blowing fuze is there a connection? Codes showing are P2290, P2614...

FICM wiring harness

well just replaced the FICM last night and its running great but that damn harness connect is causing some occassional issues its not snapping in all the way. im just happy truck is running again for now ill work on that harness after i find the short in the system that is causing me to blow...

NEW TO POWERSTROKE IN VA

backwoods i just bought a SCT livewire just trying to get the hang of using it from what i understand i am unable to see the voltage. Am I correct in saying that? I guess thats what I get for buying a used tuner but then again it was cheap considering just buying a house out here and all money...

NEW TO POWERSTROKE IN VA

Hi all, New to this site. Im in Gloucester VA bought a '04 350 and been having serious problems currently believe its the FICM but havent been able to confirm. Any ideas showing codes P0000, P0603, and P0611. Currently turns over but will only run for short time. Then gets shorter and shorter...
