I just had the alt bearings replaced on my f150, at idle they sounded like a had a supercharger with all the whine they were making. Just to give an idea of how those bad bearings sounded.

Yeah I drove my truck 40 miles (to get home) with the ebp sensor blown out of the egr pipe and didnt throw a cel til the last mile or so. So yes not always a code to come up.

The caps yall are talking bout , do they fit the black mirrors or are they to replace factory caps that may be broken? I want the chrome caps but im not going to replace entire mirror for jyst caps.

What I was trying to say is that with the cts, mini, or whatever I would rather see an actual number versus a little needle on a gauge that never moves. When Im n the mountains with my 5er Ill hit 220 and the guage doesnt even move but I know its hotter than normal because my cts shows it. I...

My boost gauge is near dead on with my CTS, the tranny gauge I never see move after truck reaches normal temps, but the CTS shows the actual temp up or down. Yes the MM would be more accurate.

My truck didnt have the factory bar so I installed the rear helwig and it does make a big difference in handling. As said earlier the drivers side mount can be a pain bc of the fuel tank but it is doable.

Optilube here too.

If you already have off , might as well replace and be done with it. If it was me I would just to have peace of mind.

Iirc I put mine on with 90 turned down , like u said I dont think it will fit any other way.

On Rudys Diesel website they have new (at least thats how its advertised) pumps. Might be worth checking out.

I like the power service stuff, truck seems to run smoother. The ford additive didnt seem to have any effect. Just my 2 pennies

I maybe fixin to sound stupid but reckon when its that cold the seals "shrink" just enough to cause a leak. I know that I have had coolant leaks in the past that didnt show up till the temps really dropped. I know that it still shouldnt leak , just thinking of possibillities.
