    That is to keep the power on the ecm if the battery's are good then it shouldn't be an issue but it never hurts when I program mine I just make sure the heater and auto lamps are all turned off

    just finished battling the same code make sure the pcm has battery voltage on pin 46 with the key off mine seemed to loose the transmission learning every time it was shutdown also the wire can get bad going by the right fender if i can figure how to upload a pic i will of the pinout
