You'd be pretty surprised at how tame it is for the power it makes. I still tow with it and drive it every where lol. Thanks guys! Should improve on a bunch of details on the truck in the next few weeks! Excited to clean it up.

What headlights are you running? Hid or led?

Been quite a while since I've been on here - trying to post on a semi regular basis again at least lol. Been wildly busy with life.

Anyway - my headlights are some retrofits I did a while ago.

Anyway, update on the truck! I took it apart to clean some stuff up and O ring the factory heads early this summer in anticipation of pushing it pretty hard this summer and unfortunately I really haven't been able to do that lol. But, it came apart and I replaced a whole bunch of stuff to clean up under the hood.

I rerouted wastegate lines, replaced a bunch of hardware, had a bunch of powdercoating done, added a redhead steering box, cleaned up the frame, washed the bottom of the cab, painted the block, tucked a little wiring, added some super fancy OUO goodies (thank you Jared! ) redid the factory heat shielding, replaced my degas bottle (should have gone no limit, but I waited until the last minute because I'm retarded) and some other odds and ends that I'm forgetting I'm sure.

For those of you who are on the fence about a redhead box, do yourself a favor and get one. Made a huge difference!

I spent quite a bit of time with some chemical guys stuff to clean, seal, and protect the frame. Plus, I cleaned up nitrous wiring and hose. No grease, never had any rust, and some new hardware makes me happy!

And here is a couple before and afters. My BD exhaust manifolds may have gotten toasty once or twice... For those who don't realize how hard I drive it I had them recoated as well. Plus I rewrapped some wiring in fire wrap.

Annnddddd now for the cool stuff. Lee at Pristine did an incredible job on my powdercoat. I chose a color that I haven't seen before and typically isn't my style, but I hit a homer with it... It's an illusion color and changes in the light. I love it. [

Putting it back together was awesome. The truck was down for a couple weeks (killed me) but I was gone to Ultimate Callout Challenge for a week of it waiting on parts (yes I planned that) lol.

My plan was to run the truck on spray at the track this year and get some decent times on the Elite Powerstrokes list that Jaran has put together, but I'm in a Wednesday night hockey league that interferes with test and tunes at bandi, and I've been traveling a bunch for work. I finally got to catch an event here a few weeks ago - Street Car Takeover. I took second in the street truck class. I lost to a 3700lb syclone drag truck on slicks... Claimed 1600hp, but his 150mph trap speed calculates to 840 lol. Anyway, I only got to make one spray pass due to being unprepared and rushed lol but the truck trapped 128.15 on a .99 jet brought in super conservatively. Only the second time (the other being DPC) where I sprayed it at the track. I had 10% of the solenoid come in at 5 seconds after WOT and ramped to 100% over 9 seconds... Just wanted to make sure the Trans and everything felt good and sneak up on it; left like a girl and went 11.25 in full street trim (8550lbs) on 35s at 6,000'.

And before anyone says anything about me sleeping, the guy I raced (this was for 2nd) told me his truck ran 12.30s, so I double checked everything before it left lol.

Here's the syclone I lost to

So anyway, in the coming weeks, I'll get back to the track with a bottle that has a gauge, and a new tune/strategy for getting the truck to leave hard that I'll try. Inspired by Charlie lol. On top of that, I've got some fancy flow matched and balanced injectors coming from RCD shortly.

It's huge, I'll be putting one on my 2015 soon.

Interesting. I was debating on getting one, but I couldn't ever get anyone to quantify why spending 600 on a steering box was a good idea.

Love the attention to detail.
looks absolutely flawless fella!
Can't wait to see what it does pushing a little harder!

Thanks man! I've got a ton of hours into the details!

I think it'd do 135+ of i decided to push it that hard... I always drive to the track though, so there's that lol.

Hopefully I get some better fuel only numbers out of it before fall as well. It's still pretty conservative really.
