That's how I did it last time^ the factory boot is just to oil soaked from the factory VGT. Once you tighten the clamp up it just pushes enough oil out to let the pipe slip out under heavy boost.

Started to build a stainless intake today. It's about done.

Intake is finally complete. Got a 4" to 5" adapter and went with a mammoth AFE filter.

Im not sure if its the new intake or the intercooler or both but this thing spools much easier then it used to. Im very happy with the results of the intake and the intercooler.

I had some issues with the first intercooler i got, it looked like the ups driver threw the thing outta the back of the truck the mounts were all bent to hell. I PM'd "inmotionjosh" the pics and he got it taken care of the next day. I had a call tag and the new cooler shipped out no questions. Im very happy with the way Josh handled everything and would buy from him again. I got the new cooler yesterday and put it in.

I got it in and bolted down in place and first thing i noticed is it was rubbing the trans cooler in front of it, i wasnt very happy about that. It was a simple fix since i just put a spacer behind the mounting bolts for the trans cooler to space it out about 3/8". I just feel that for the price of the intercooler they should include 2 spacers to keep things a happy distance from each other.

Had to do the same with my intercooler. Which was installed by me and the mishimoto guys at their HQ. Surprised they haven't started supplying spacers.

About time for a trans. It's slipping pretty good in 4th and 5th and won't hold lockup lol. I'm suprised it hasent threw any codes yet.

Figured id give an update, Finally got the trans built.

Went with a local company Sky High Performance they were the place building ryan andersons 5R for a while.

Im really happy with the trans, went with a PI 2200 stall billet tripple disc billet input output and hub. Trans is holding up great.

I need to do something with the 366 though its still puking oil out the compressor side, Also need to do something about the ICP im only holding 3.2-3.4 V at WOT.

I had the truck to the track and dyno a few weeks back made 500/900 and went 13.3 deffinatley not where the truck should be but I know theres a lot more in it.

I think im gonna drive it till winter send the injectors out have them gone through go dual pumps or a thumper and maybe a 369.

The thumper is way easier than dual pumps but some of the stories I've been hearing has me worried to put one in my pickup.

Ya I know what you mean I would rather not do dual pumps but it may be the only option to hold full ICP.
