Did a stud job on my puking 08 with 95k, it was down far enough to replace the cam with an rcd and I didnt do the lifters then and regretted it. This truck has 92k on it, bought it with like 83 on it i believe and drove it 2200 miles from AZ to upstate NY when I bought it. I have all new oem lifters for it this time around and rcd valve springs again like my 08. Stock pushrods for now. I know there is a lot of debate about pushrods and what not. But im not too concerened, again this is a street driven truck that probably will never get pulled and maybe go to the local track a couple times just for fun, nothing crazy. There are quite a few people that have stock valve trains with a good amount of power that probably run their trucks harder than me.

looking good so far.

If it were me i would at least do the drop in hamilton springs and a mild pushrod, stock might work but i would hate to see a spring break and drop a valve on you. That would ruin your day

So you are gonna pull the heads? I mean if your planning on replacing the lifters? Or did I misread something?

The build looks really good and the quality looks absolutely top notch.

And I didn't think there is any debates on pushrods??? Must have missed that?

Anyway, good luck and looking to see what comes out of this project.

Yes heads are coming off to do the hg/stud job. Heads will get surfaced, new lifters and valve springs.

Im currently looking for a metal plate to have welded onto the intake for the maf. I pmd Mike at no limit inquiring on his. I just need to double check on what material, stainless or aluminum, we are going to do that with and get back to him. If I need aluminum and he cant get it, anyone know who can supply the flange I can have welded
onto my intake for the maf

I can make you one out of whatever you want if Mike cant get ya setup. I also have a set of elite stage 1 pushrods I'll sell ya for $150 shipped. I'm going to a stage 2.

Mocking up the atmosphere turbo. Where it is in these pictures will most likely be how its mounted. Plenty of room between the turbo and hood. He mocked up an air filter pipe which looks like it'll work well. Itll be a challenge with the turbo drain. Hopefully there is enough angle to route it to the valve cover.

Have a good Christmas everyone!!

Clears without issue. You cant see it in the pictures but the cab is on the lift directly above the truck so he has been raising and lowering it as he goes. Heres a couple more pictures that were just sent to me. 6 inch intake piping fits nicely
