I don't mind there is very little info out there on sleeving these things. I don't see a sleeve that is installed with a step in the block and the head clamping it down moving. There are high hp sleeved engines out there. I think the main concern is the thickness of the bottom of the cylinders and whether there is even the meat there to sleeve it.

That's what I was thinking, I don't see how it could move when it has nowhere to go. That's why I asked. Well I guess it will be up to what I can afford sleeve and IH pistons or punched out with forged pistons. Either way when I build it I'll be broke time its all said and done. LOL

Should be an interesting build! I just don't get how someone can trash such a nice vehicle.

Pulled her apart tonight. Looks like the injector hung and hydro locked it and bent the rod. Piston got whacked from the bottom by the counter weight. The pin boss broke and the wrist pin came out to play.

no doubt the block is trashed. We will be buying a new block to build from.

That sucks that block is trashed. Hopefully, u bought it right and will still come out on it. Looks like a good truck to work or tow with and it should clean up fairly decent.

Still need to order the new block but other parts are slowly trickling in.

Look like the build will be.
-new block
-IH pistons with valve reliefs and maybe coated.
-Morgans stage 2 manifold
-A elite 71mm low pressure
-Barder 59mm vgt
-stage one cam
-springs and push rods
-Id like to get a billet flex plate and ati damper too
-Maybe the rcd arp crank adapter bolts
-arp head studs
-Heads gone threw and hardened valve seats.
-Maybe a waste gate not sure don't think ill need it with stock fuel
-Stock rods even tho billet would be nice i think its over kill.
I'm sure there will be much more too.

I know I am kinda late to this thread, but very nice build list....for a durable/reliable rig. I can't imagine you would need a WG with this build.
