Thanks guys, I am excited for sure. Mike says this thing spools like mad on the street and is a monster.

Yes it is sucking in the filter minder immediately on the dyno. No clue what to do but pull it on a dyno run. Mike is gonna clean it and make a run without it tomorrow to see the difference.

no vids, that I know of.

I know I am amazed it is flowing that much air. Not really sure how to fix that if we can......

better solution, would be to figure out how to split the intake tube, or put a "Y" in it, so yo can run two filters.

no sense in taking away air, just let it breath better.

Holly ***sticks!! LOL

That "y" idea is good but don't know how to fit that anywhere. I will know more about it late today when I talk to Mike, but I am on the road tomorrow at 6am!

did elite not run it on a big tune to test it out?

as much as i appreciate your concern on the subject i feel compelled to reply.

no it was not run in "the big tune" we were contracted to do some engine mods and build the turbo kit. It was pre planned that Haller's was going to be dyno tuning after completion, so we did not spend a ton of time adjusting the gates. Not worth the risk to overspeed the turbos on the street before the gates have been properly set up.

as for the intake I had considered several options including a y but time was up so we just had to do what we had previously used.

The filter minder was pulling but after cleaning the filter real good, it seems fine now. This turbo setup works awesome though. It has very good driveabilty, and the spoolup with the vgt is awesome. Nathaniel did some really killer fab work on everything as well. I'm able to fully control bp and keep it 1 to 1 or lower with no gating up to about 3600 rpm. And egts in the biggest tune never go above 1450 degrees. I think Erik is going to be very happy with it.
