I need some help guys, I'm at a loss, and my search has been futile to say the least.

I sold all my original 05 front end parts, the chrome stuff, as I wanted to go painted.

Got everything back from the painters, assembled, and put on the truck, but the whole assembly is sitting too far forward?????

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong??

Barely under the headlight.

Tow hooks barely poke through.

Coming up short on lining up to the fender properly.

Could the mounting brackets be flipped on the bumper to draw it in tighter?

I honestly thought I installed them wrong at first, but I double checked myself against the old set up, I took pics before I sold it.

The gap is killing me. Lol. My OCD is on full alert!!

Mine fits that way and I've never had the bumper off and it appears to have never been off before, as the bolt heads have no tool marks on them. My 05 that I had previously fit that way as well.

That's how they all are...it can't be adjusted. You can fool the eye on the fender opening by sliding the bumper down a bit but then you have a gap to look at across the front.
On my old truck I cut the front of the frame off on each side, sectioned out 1" then welded it all back together. It fit perfect after that.

Thanks for all the reply's. It drives me crazy, but almost every F250 I have looked at is the same.
