Coolant in oil.

Got a 6.4 in the shop that was rebuilt last year by another shop. It has major coolant in the oil. Cracked block right? By my thinking that's the only way they can mix and not get oil in the coolant..

Yellow coolant. New front cover last year when it was rebuilt. It was over bored and studded which has me thinking its cracked around the one stud.

I would.pop.the water pump out. These things are notorious for eating.front covers, like ctc.said. it only takes a couple minutes to know for sure if its a simple fix or not.

I would check the front cover first, but if it looks good pull the valve covers. If it's leaking at the studs you will see a puddle of coolant in the webbing of the head, below the stud. It's one or the other, good luck with it.

Yep. I pinched off the pcv hose and pressurized the crank through the dipstick tube and used a stethoscope to pinpoint it.
