Checked out a gas xlt crew cab long box today. Something just doesn't look quite right about them to me.

I looked at a 250 extended cab short box XLT gas yesterday and I wasn't impressed. The door handles are very cheap and flimsy. It also is a lot taller than my '15. The top of the box is a couple inches higher and the truck itself is just taller. I liked the tires for stock. I will say that it looks like everything was an after thought or cobbled together to match what they already had.

Hmmmmm.....i saw a lariat being hauled from out west back to ford in mi. It wasnt a super loaded specimen. All the cameras. Basic learher seats with ball coolers. It was very nice. A steange blue/tan. Reminiscent of wedgewood blue.

those door handles are great...should take a thief longer than 10 seconds to get inside one now.

That's my issue with the lighter trim new body style f150's.

My local dealer has a couple xl and xlt trucks. One nice looking red Lariat. They actually seem quite a bit bigger in person

Saw one in person at the car wash. F 350 CCSB KR, vinyl floors, optional 48 gal fuel tank & 7.5 gal DEF, ruby red, with the big a$$ sun roof. Good looking pick up. Much better in person. Damn thing is big though. Taller than my '15 with 2.5" springs and 4" rear block. I have never liked the KR interiors. Mostly didn't like the color of the leather. This one was brown with orange piping and stitches. Much more appealing to me.

Vinyl floors in a king ranch? They sure are tall I saw some pictures posted somewhere of a stock height one next to a gmc on a 6" lift with 35's and the thing was almost the same height.

Yep, vinyl...rubber...pvc...whatever the newest not carpet is used these days. He said it's now an option, as they apparently had requests for it. I took my floor mats out with less than 500 miles on it and put in Weather Techs. My '15 floor mats are sitting in the bottom of my closet next to my '05 floor mats I forgot about when I traded it in.

I thing a 4.5" with 35s would be a good approximation. It was at least two inches taller than mine. Another 2" of lift and 1/2-1" of tire would probably be close. I'm betting 35s would fit with no lift / level. Someone may have already posted about it, but there was a lot of room around the front tire.

Seen a F-350 dually at the jobsite today, I'll see if I can't get a picture of it. I can say it does look better in person.

I've seen quite a few around the Metro Detroit area the past 6 months or so, and yes they ride high. I like it.

On the topic of vinyl floors on all trim levels, I like the idea. I'm not out on a farm everyday or anything, but for the times when it is muddy or dirty, it's nice not to have to worry about the carpet, or keeping strictly to the floor mats. And here in Michigan where we get snow and road salt in our cars, vinyl would be easier to clean for sure. I mean if you are going to purchase weather guard floor mats right away anyway, it might make sense just to go with vinyl from the beginning.

I think that's really odd. If I saw a used one setup like that I wouldn't buy it even though it's a fairly easy thing to change. I have some type of heavy rubber or weathertech in all my vehicles and would never choose to get one with a vinyl floor imo that makes a truck look so cheap.

Not everyone thinks the same. Everyone should eat vanilla because you prefer it?
