Lets say I left the adapter plugged in when i went to the gym to workout. While i was in the gym i would notice my headlights randomly flashing. After i finished my workout, when i left, the truck would shift up to 3rd gear, then randomly downshift for no reason. Stop at a stop sign, and it would run through the gears up to fourth, keep in mind im still stopped at the stop sign. After unplugging the adapter all was back to normal. Im not the only one that had that issue though, there were a few other on ford truck enthusiasts as well.

Sprtn says sounds like its a solenoid/ valve body issue. **** that pisses me off. Anyone with a SCTx4 want to trade for a ngauge even stevens?



Tempting ;) but I would need to pay the fees to make that ngauge work with my truck.

I FINALLY GOT around to loading the Spartacus Warhammer "rasiedshiftpoint" sotf file.

FANTASTIC!!!!! Shifts just like..... Stock. No 6th gear at 39mph crap anymore. Lol

I've kept forgetting also. Where do you find the download?

Jeff is working with me. I switched back to the warhammerx tune. No crazy shifts from 3-1 anymore but still have a 3-4 squeal. Hopefully we get this figured out! Doesnt seem like a valve body issue though hopefully

Thinking about hopping over to *******, but after reading this thread not sure if I wanna jump ship to have them shut down by the EPA. I was reassured that everything would be fine, but before I drop a pretty penny for an ez lynk and tunes I was wondering what everyone's opinions are

Thinking about hopping over to *******, but after reading this thread not sure if I wanna jump ship to have them shut down by the EPA. I was reassured that everything would be fine, but before I drop a pretty penny for an ez lynk and tunes I was wondering what everyone's opinions are

This is precisely why they're pushing the ez lynk. You can trace hardware, but software, you may as well chase your tail.

But I'd be happy to email you the fIle I have if you want. I think that will work or it should anyways.

Well... here is some food for thought. Big thought.

Have you seen a shortage of minimax and tunes??? Lol... I'll keep that very vague. But it's food for thought.

Unfortunately this is the new norm and the EPA will not stop chasing tuners around the horn. I'm not trying to be pessimistic but it's simply the dirty truth.

I had the warhammer tune on and switched to the 600qr tune because of shift flares, since switching to the 600qr i could not stand to drive my truck to even do a trans relearn, shift flares like crazy. Is ******* doing revised tunes or anything? truck is a 2015 and has 15,000 miles on it.

Gotchadollar, with the EPA hassling them I am just hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. If we see any updates, I doubt it will be any time soon
