That looks like the glow plug relay
Glow plug relay...
Go to Napa and pick up a GPR-109... Do not tell them you need a glow plug relay for a powerstroke or they will sell you a $75 POS... Tell them you want a GPR-109 and you will walk out with a glow plug relay for about $35 bucks.
Or you can get a western plow relay for 12 bucks.

Any difference between this, and a starter solenoid? It looks just like the starter solenoid on every ford truck i have... and I have half a dozen of those laying around.
It is more or less the same, you could try one, it may last a week, it may last a year...
Keep in mind the glow plugs turn on every time you turn the key (more or less) and it gets a large workout.
Sounds like I should just stick to GPR-109. I don't mind spending the money to do it right. Afterall, $35 isn't much.
Hell if that plow relay works I would go that route, I just dont like recomending things I have not done or tried. I might have to pick one up...![]()
LOL... Then the GPR-109 is the part for you...
i like my stancor
Its giant and built like a brick **** house. It's like the Chuck Norris of relays.I've read a lot about this stancor relay. What makes it so much better than the GPR-109?
