what would be the proper way to dyno a 6.7 powerstroke truck. how would you load it 4th gear manual lock or 6th gear manual lock.
I think 5th gear on the 6.7 is closest to a 1:1 drive ratio. I would run manual 5th gear and load the hell out of it imho.
I had a buddy tell me that you need to unplug the speed sensor up front because the ABS system will throw a code and cause defueling if you dont. Anyone know anything about this ?
The code won't de-fuel anything though. We monitored rail pressure during a lot of our dyno runs and it never dipped.
I agree that manual 5th is the way to go (5th is 0.86:1 and 4th is 1.15:1).
We use a 25-30 percent load on a SuperFlow.
Ours did 336 stock, at the 390hp factory rating. Then it did 347 with the 400hp reflash.
I've seen anywhere from 320 to 350 to the wheels.
What'd it cost ya to get that reflash?
