Reusable doesnt seem like a big deal except for racers i guess, but has there been any issues with the clamping force on regular ARP's or is this just a more is better type thing.

Well, I don't think they're geared toward the intake, tuner, exhaust crowd.

I just dont see the need. I could name some people i think could benefit from them and that list would be very short. Im not bashing them or anything. But if ARP's will hold 1,000 HP down, then these are not needed for even the crowd above the intake, tuner, exhaust people.

Hmmm interesting. I don't really get it though... it's not like stud strength has ever really been the issue of blowing headgaskets. No matter what, we can't fix the 4 bolt per cylinder issue at hand. Higher clamping force? What is all this clamping force doing for block distortion???

As for being able to re-use them.... How many times have the regular one's been re-used? How many sets of standards could a guy buy before justifying that cost?

Maybe there's a benefit we just don't know about yet here.

I'm assuming this is being done on a built engine, so it would have a torque plate installed and then be honed... Would it not?
