PCM swap, what do I need.

So I fried my PCM. I'm wondering if I can just order any PCM, put it in and go or do they need programmed by the dealer? I found these on eBay, would it work?

If your truck has a straight gear it should work, but it has to be reprogrammed by IDS. The seller tells you that in the auction.

Thank you, I ordered one from my dealer this morning. Where is the PCM located in the truck so I can remove it and take it in for the core when I pick up the new one?
