So right now truck is currently stock fuel ( with airdog) and tow powers. Under wot run egts hit 1650-1750 ish. Who here is running high powers with stock fuel? Or run a single? I want some larger lungs but scared they are to big for stock fuel.

Back when I had 110s and my tow powers I burried a 2000 degree pyro. But I took those out. I want retared low egts, so I think HP or tow power x's? Either one should be good I guess

110's are big in my opinion for a dd on tow powers. 60's and opening up the flow in the motor worked great when I had tp's.

Could I possibly keep tow powers and get steed speeds and intake manifold? Cool her down a bit

IMO every little bit helps, the manifold may not help much in egt's but I think it helps in air flow to the rear cylinders.

I think Mike D. ran stock sticks and highpowers and said it was one most fun setups hes ever run. Correct me if Im wrong mikey.

Mike did run that set up for a while and loved it, so did Mike S but I can't remember his handle on here right now.

Mike Settlemire AKA powr2stroke ran HP's and stock fuel also. He has since stepped up his game.

Well does it matter that I have industrials tp's? I wonder if I could put the tow power x upgrade on my 58mm high psi turbo

What are you running for a cold air intake? Most cold air intakes ie: AFE, S&B do not provide enough air for upgraded turbos, hence why you suck in the filter minder all the time. You cannot get enough air through to the turbos so the air is becoming heated from the turbos working too hard to get the air in. Same problem as stock turbos with a dirty filter or to simplify it trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose. This is why alot of people are switching to intakes like Shane's (white_monster).

High powers and stock fuel. Honestly its to easy of a choice; 680-700hp with ZERO smoke and no lag, low EGT's. Very well rounded setup

Mike D said HPs on stock fuel was one of his favorite setups ever. I have been hoping someone would try the Tow X on stock fuel. From what I have read, since Elite switched to the cast wheel on the X, they haven't been having any more issues with them. Jeff is getting ready to do the Tow X atmo and Corbin's sounded awesome.

High powers on stock fuel is the funnest truck I've ever driven. End of story. Spooled at least as quick as stock, super low temps, and pulled HARD. There are zero drivability/spool issues. Honestly they are as responsive as stock if not snappier. Do it and don't look back.
