Hey guys, so I'm thinking about possibly buying a 2010 F350 6.4. It's a lariat with black leather every option but nav and sunroof xcab short bed white with 2tone gray on the bottom...looks sharp. It's got 51xxx on it and they are asking $35500. I checked NADA and they said $41xxx for a Certified Pre Owned as this one is. Seems kind of off though seems high. It's a real nice truck but just like to get some more input. Any input is apperciated. Thanks

I'm going to look at a loaded 08 this weekend with 36k for 36,900 iirc. Being two years newer, I'd say the price is pretty comparable. Of course you'll negotiate them down as well.

I just picked up a 2010 lariat fx4. 4x4 cc/sb. Black on black. Every option available. 34k miles and I gave 40k. I was happy at that price. I'd say that's a pretty good deal for you

By xcab do you mean extended cab? As in not crew cab? If so, I think that's pretty high still. I would think 35 would be pretty good on a crew cab, but the extended cab should bring it down a decent amount.

I picked up my loaded lariat 09 cc/sb with 9k miles for 36k.. if that helps anyone any... cause that's pretty low mileage.

I'd say like 33k max.

I'd be happy with the deal you got there. My main thing is I want my payments to be the same or less than they were with my regular cab.

Thats nice man. I found a sweet Harley edition '10 that has 40k for $42k but its 900 miles away from me in Florida. Still going to search for one closer. I'm not comfortable buying a truck sight unseen.

Yes It's a extended cab. I was thinking around 32-33k tops also. Going to search around more though becuase car fax says it had an accident. It hit a car on the right side and I asked the dealer about that and they said "if it did then it wasn't much becuase the truck is amaculate". Just trying to blow smoke up my a$$. So I'm going to continue looking.

I'll tell you this, I bought my 08 that sounds like about what this truck is in February of 2009 with 16k miles and it really was immaculate and I paid $29,200. That's why I think it's a bit high.

Also, equal trucks with a crew cab were right around 6,000 more at the time.

Wow. The prices have gone up alot in the past year or 2. I read online that trucks made in 08+ there arn't that many becuase of the economy they didn't make as many as usual. Thus there is more 08's then 09 and 2010. Sucks but I'm going to keep looking. Have you had any problems with your 08?

Yeah, prices have definitely gone up. But I also know of someone who has bought an identical truck to mine but silver recently for right around 20,000 with like 130k miles. I think you just need to keep searching. That price they want is pretty crazy for an extended cab given how many people think they need a crew cab nowadays.

My truck has been pretty good, except for when it needed a new egr valve before I deleted it, and the radiator had to be replaced. I would look for a 2010 like what you're doing, because it seems like those were more refined, but I'd still look for a better deal.

Have you thought about looking down here in texas? There are usually a lot better priced trucks and we don't have rust issues like the more northern states do. It could definitely be worth a plane ticket and a drive back home.

Yeah I want something down south becuase of that reason. Not to mention no hills to climb or rust down there. I found 2010 crew cab lariat in PA for 34k with 26k on it. Seems to good to be true crazy. Loaded has sunroof and navi but no front caption chairs. But I want to keep looking. Probaly going to buy something next month or so.
