Madman is right for the most part.

The issue comes on some single pump tunes where they are maxing everything out to try and make the pump put out maximum volume.

Hows the truck running today buddy with some new tunes? I bet it is a riot on the street to drive hay?

I haven't got them yet. I think I have a boost leak or the bov is not holding.
I hear boost leaking anything over about 21psi. I just pulled it in the shop to check it out.

Check the hot charge pipe at the high pressure turbo its a pain to get to seal up sometimes

Alright guys, I said earlier the issue I was having with my new tune. When I load my new extreme x tune Eric made me the truck wont pull off. He is working on a new tune for me now changing line pressure or something. Tonight I got my Gearhead tunes and they are doing the same thing, truck just kinda rocks when dropped in drive but will not pull off. Both IDP and GH will go in reverse but it jerks hard when falling in gear.
I loaded my old 3.01 xstreet tune and put about 120 mile on it today, It shifts great on all my old files.

Any one have a explination? Both tuners are working on getting it resolved for me but I am curious as to what is causing this. I bought the trans from a guy on here and it is supposed to be a full built suncoast with 5k miles, trans looks great inside and out. It has a s/c hd converter also.


Also I think I have the boost leak figured out, The o ring on the hot pipe at the I/C was missing and my top cac boot was leaking some. It drives way better now but have only seen 33 psi with the old tune still.

So, your engine is doing ok, as far as you can tell, but the new 3.03 and GH tunes are not letting the trans work. And the 3.01 files run just fine. Am I understanding that correctly?

Your rig is an 08, is there any chance the TCM is an older unit? Like a job 1 that is not working correctly? I'm spit balling here, as I have my own trans dilemnas... or any chance that TC was a higher stall? Maybe too loose for that Max Power setup to build good boost? Again... Spitballing...

Corn your mostly right. Truck runs and drives good on 3.01 tunes, they are just the best for my new setup. soon as I load xtreme x truck will only go in reverse same with the new gh tunes.

Should I have updated my sct before loading the new tunes? All I did was add them as a custome tune to the livewire.

I have had that issue before. I believe the issue is its in reverse all the time. I had this issue when I installed a Job 3 tcm in my job 1 truck.

What was the fix?

I talked to suncoast they suggested having the truck reflashed and try again. He said it has to be in the tcm/pcm or tune, because it works fine on the old tunes.

Reading the beggining of this got me curious. what are the hp to percentage wise on the injectors? is a MPD 100% nozzle the same as a 110hp nozzle?

so 110cc isnt comperable to the 100% That I will be running. so I should hit 900 easily?
