What kind of loss comes from a race cover used with a 4"intake? 5" will get over the dog house, but 5.5" would need the swapped vc.

I have the kit with the s366 and it was only like 2200. Plus 800 for the waste gate. Way better than a 38r and bout the same price after bellowed up pipes and turbo

How did you arrive that a s366 is better than a 38r? I almost wanna puke Im laughing so hard.

Edit: Ive heard that. Ive also heard that its because of the supreme durability...which is.why several guys making 500hp blew em to ***k in short order. Because they are "durable". They are cheap, the single advantage.

The benefit of the S366, IMO, is that it opens up your options for different turbos if you decide to change things up, vs being stuck with the stock mount setup and the 38R or modded stock turbos.

I think his point is if you're currently running small injectors, but plan to go bigger in the future, do you:
-Throw down $1500 for a 38r, then another $3100 for a S468 + T4 mount
or
-Skip the 38r and drop $2200 upfront for a S366 + T4, then $1500 for a S468 when you go bigger.

its the T-4 mount that gives you the options for different turbos..you dont need to buy a S366 to get a mount.. the S366 they are talking about is a turbo..

No sh!t Sherlock... but if you buy the S366 you also buy the friggin' T4 mount that it goes on, which opens up your options for turbos in the future. Capiche??? Or do I need to write it in crayon for you?

I'm pushing 490 hp and I've pulled and raced on my for 2 years. I have the gen2 wicked wheel and my 38r lights quick now. My setup with deleted ebpv pedestal, gutted ebpv housing, international ceramic coated uppipes for a lot cheaper then a t4 kit. I kept it stock because I didn't want to have to pull in the 2.6 class.

then why does you post start like this??

what does that have to do with durability?? I believe that was the question you was asked and did not answer...i know some have had luck with the 366 but they spent the extra $$$ for a waste gate... thats more $$ then i have in my set up and i didnt need to buy a 366 to have it......

waste $$ on something you know will give out on you and needs to be trashed??? why not start out with a 468 and run a tighter housing?? when you do go bigger you only need to spend a couple hundred for the housing..

So they can't make or won't make a T4 setup gtp38r. T4 doesn't mean you can't run reverse rotation.

Huh?

Have you the slightest clue as to what your talking about? Have you ever seen how your stock turbo mounts on a pedistal... Do you understand the 38R mounts the same way...

ugh.

Ever tried putting a LHT nut on a RHT bolt?

Show me a housing that will spool a S468 with 90cc, 135cc, or even 160cc and stock nozzles.

then a 38R would be the best way to go... $1500 for the turbo with a high flow outlet and a deleted pedestal...your done and good for another 100k..if your really hell bent on a T-4 then maybe a GSSB with the 160's...never ran one..but i hear there very good...
