Yes sir. Had it on for 6 months ... its just code p0232 and the vgt code. But I try to clear the codes and they clear and I turn it over and nothing. Everything is plugged in.... I just finished putting the cab back on after the stud job... now it don't turn on.

It does turn over.... just need to figure out how to get all the air out. I got a new hpfp and all new lines so air is abondunt in the fuel system... I got all the air out as I could from the bleed point on top of the fuel cooler

All you can really do is keep key cycling and cranking till it fires. Single pump trucks suck to get the air out

Common practice on common rail systems is to never crack lines to bleed pressure, 5k pressure could really hurt you if you touched it or something while cranking.

What i do usually is crack both lines to the cylinder head and let the air dog run untill there is good fuel comming from the lines, then at least the pump is primed and the rails and injectors are the only thing without fuel.

That being said i usually do above steps with the valve covers off and bleed the injectors too before i put it backtogether, but dual pumps is a different story when it comes to that, the air doesnt seam to effect them so much

it fired up .. now how much blow by am I suspose to be getting? I have the ccv to the air right now and when I take off the oil cap it has a little pressure... not a lot but just enough to when you just place it on top it pushes off is this ok? I checked the pistons and no cracked pistons

It shouldnt push the cap off, thats pretty high if you ask me exp for a cold engine.

Are you sure that the CCV hose isnt pinched off or anything?

I think I'm OK I let the truck warm up and it calmed down.... now only problem is my fuel gauge don't work....the gauge goes from the empty mark (red line)more down... then on the display it shows the fuel tank... no codes

Check the plugs under the master Cylinder that were unhooked when removing the cab. Make sure the lock went all the way in ect.

Well I did check and I found a loose one thanks... now back to the blow by... I hooked up my 3/4 inch ccv hose and now it has enough pressure to push the cap off.... now what?

Prospect, Oh
Crack the lines going to the fuel rails...that will help get any air lock out of the pump...and keep from destroying that new pump.
