Ok guys I have been looking at buying a 6.7 and want to put some go fast parts on it. I will have around $15k to spend on parts and labor so from what I have been told that rods are the first thing. So after that what should I do? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Depends on your hp goal. Personally a nice turbo kit from mpd h&s elite rcd ect and good tuning should put you at 500 Hp and be reliable.

Like I said kinda depends on what you are looking for

well I want 650 to 700 so thats why rods are a must. What are the other short falls of the 6.7? Turbo? Fuel? what do i need.

ok yes you will need rods, dual fuelers, not sure on what size nozzles you will need, i think from what i have heard you can make stock nozzles make decent power with more pulse width.

There are some decent builds going on right now hopefully some of these other guys will chime in on what you will be needing. but as far as i know no one has hit 700 on fuel yet

I would do dual fuelers and a 63-64mm turbo kit, should be good for 600, which is pretty close to your goal and be able to run on stock rods, 15k is gonna go fast if you do rods...

We hit 608 with a 63 and dual fuelers so far

Y'all usually just pull some of the torque out down low on the tuning though right? I know guys have made pretty good numbers with stock rods it's just kinda sketchy to me. Lol

i know single kits are 4k on their own
2800 for a cp3 kit with a pump

plus whatever companies charge to add on a atmospheric turbo on top of the single kit. easily another 3k imho

That turbo would last maybe 20 miles compounded on top of with a wicked wheel in it.

I went through 2 stock chargers and was on my 3rd with industrials kit when I decided to do a full build.. there kit is complete waste of time save your money and do a true compound kit
