I got 71/59's around Christmas and you are right they don't make much more noise. I put a no limit air intake on and you can hear a lot more turbo noise now. Not really whistle but those things are moving some air!

Well that's good to know. They still kick on and off sometimes. Not sure about the deal on that, but yes they move sine air. That AFE is probably hating life. I need a no limit bad.

I saw that too. It's either that or the NL. Trying to get ahold of Elite is like trying to sit down and have coffee with Abraham Lincoln right now. I have the stage 2. I actually put my stock elbow that comes of the inducer and retrofitted it to the rest of the AFE setup. I was a little disappointed to see that my stock one was larger than the AFE which makes no sense! I suppose thats the reason for the upgrade kit LOL

i run gear heads hot street tune, and just put down 547/1030 stock everything, other then dpf/cat delete obviously. its fine on the transmission...tows fine too. my buddy has been in spartans 310 tune for 40,000 miles in 08 f450 crew cab long bed on 24's and tows his 38' cigarette boat which weighs in at about 14-15k no issues at 80-90mph didn't even have his dash daq plugged. just ran it, the key to not having the truck jump with a touchy pedal is to bury your right toe into the carpet so it doesn't move so easily. or swap to gear head tuning.

Oh and also a Gearhead dealer too if you need any tunes.. Matt writes a 6.4 tune like no other.

Well I have 59/71 already. Would a 72 make that much of a difference? If so, the thing has less than a hundred miles on it straight from elite. I'll pay the difference for the 72 and send you the 71. Can the atmo be changed cab on?

Atmo can be changed cab on. But in all reality that's a lot of work for a smaller gain. But the billet 72 or 75 would be an upgrade in the future if you ever add more fuel to the fire.

I am trying to my best to compare apples to apples. Since you have the 59 already, this won't be a direct comparison, but JD ran a 71 on stock fuel and stock VGT and then later upgraded to the Elite's 72 (IIRC it is about a 72.4) while still stock on fuel and stock VGT. Anyways, I am pretty sure it was the same dyno and he did see a significant increase. Either PM him or look in Elite's section when the 72 was being released and you should be able to review the details and confirm the same dyno. IIRC, his track times did reflect the gains on the dyno. Again, that was with a stock VGT, not a 59...although I would think with the 59, the difference would be pretty darn close. Like Morgan said, if you add fuel, that does a lot more but you should probably go bigger on the atmo (at least to a 75 or 76).

Now that you say that I read that too a while back but can't recall the results. So If I'm going to stay stock fuel, would the 75 benefit me at all for a DD or would I need more fuel to get the thing spooled. it doesn't smoke hardly at all now and I love that. And going bigger on fuel would probably be putting more strain on my pistons and I do t really want to tear into that just yet .

There is definitely a bump up from a 71-72 going to a 75 or 76 on stock fuel.
I went from a 72.4/59 to 76.7/59 and was very happy. And I was on stock fuel.

What's the deal with 75/76 atmospheres on say stock fuel/stock Vgt without a gate?

I can't say for the 76. But doing some digging before I made the jump to the RCD 75/59 I was informed that Bp actually dropped due to a larger exhaust housing on the 75. Gating should not be required until more fuel is added. If all goes as planned ( and it never does) I should be able to report back initial results late next week on how they perform on stock fuel and street/hot street GH tuning. See what goes first. Trans or gaskets haha.

Yeah, the EBPs are not what I would have predicted but that does seem to be the case with the 75 or 76. I will let Riverside chime in on the EBP but I got the impression he didn't see them go up either

OP I am hoping to have my truck back next week and I will try to let ya know how it turned out....only difference with me is I added a gate and went to 15% nozzles....still on stock and single VGT. When I can do pistons, then duals (Morgans duals) will be going in along with a 59
