2001 7.3 intermittent idle issues
I finally had time too install my motorcraft ipr and icp from full force diesel. that has solved my issue, icp is staying within 20 psi of commanded and ipr is at 11.3 in my tow tune. I could see some slight differences between the ebay motorcraft ipr and the one I got from full force. thanks...- 97cherokee

so I contacted 1023. they said below 60*f icp is commanded at 1100 over 140*f it is supposed to be 515. they havent gotten back too me on ipr. they also said most scan tools dont read desired icp correctly. anytime I've used mine too monitor anything it's always been close.- 97cherokee

oh I agree, new parts fail all the time. I just got too have some info too give them. they werent very helpful when I called too discuss my issues... I can check the pai and duty cycle later this week at a 70mph cruise and should I do wot check from a 55mph roll?- 97cherokee

are you saying my ipr percent is high? and that I have an hpop issue? if so what would I need to do to confirm as it is only 3 weeks old from cnc fab thanks- 97cherokee

my current one is ford one thats 5-6 yrs old and has about 115k on it. i definitely expect more longevity for such an expensive sensor, is what it is though.- 97cherokee

2001 7.3 intermittent idle issues
so about a week ago i noticed that my truck doesnt have the butter smooth idle its had since i did the hrx and frx... i start the truck cold and it idles butter smooth, leave work go about 2.5-3 miles come too the stoplight and after a few seconds itll idle funny... not skipping just idles funny...- 97cherokee

GTP38R vs the KC2
i just switched too a kc stg 1 300x and it is an awesome turbo, im running ff 180/30s with 1023 tunes and always had egt problems... with this turbo i no longer have egt issues, ive yet too see it get over 1050... it spools really quick, it is also very quiet. i was curious about the journal vs...- 97cherokee

well this weekend i got my new water pump, fan clutch, radiator, csf 6029 intercooler ( it is a bit bigger than factory and better built) new condensor, new compressor, orfice, accumulator and repalced the worn out steering box with a red head done. next weekend i plan too install my mishimoto...- 97cherokee

7.3 is getting some love
yeah at 2k its running closer to 75 or 78 mph according too gps and the truck is a dd/towrig. i feel that the truck will cruise down the highway with the proper injectors,turbo and everything else working fine at 65-70 which is about as fast as i go towing, pulling the mountains and such i dont...- 97cherokee

I had ordered the turbo and other stuff i think earlier this weekend. the intercooler and piping I am just doing because of age, etc and dont want too have too worry about it leaking at some point if it's not already.- 97cherokee
