The oil cooler in a way is a filter. A remote filter is finer than the oil cooler and only stops what goes thru the oil cooler anyway. Everything coming out of the block has to go thru the oil cooler first. But they still help.

I bet your battery cables are getting full of green corrosion and not flowing enough currant to the starter.

I have never heard of the ZF6 timing thing. Would you explain. I have a 02 with the 6spd.

My 02 does this also. Who's WFO ? Or what brand or company did you get the shims from.

Make sure you change all the fluid also.

I am running the 6637 filter. The problem with it is your intake temperature will go thru the roof pulling hard going down the road. That kills horsepower. Never draw under hood air.

I wouldn't put 30% nozzles in it unless you are going to 190's or bigger.

The relay might be letting just enough voltage thru for it to read but not enough to let the truck start.

I tried to put the Cat filter on my stock 02 oil pan and it is about a half inch to wide. I would of had to dent the pan in to make it work.
