    I wish there was a magic bullet solution for this issue.This has bothered me as long as I have had my '11 F350.Just this past Sat.,I was pulling my 7k TT in 85* ,and my temps easily hit 260+ on a couple grades.Running an SCT tuner on tow tune.Does cool off fairly quickly on the declines,but man...

    I've noticed this too.Everyone says its a huge power draw,and you'll know when it comes on.I haven't noticed it yet.

    This is the best I have right now.It does seem a little restrictive.I'll pull that off,and clean out the rad just to eliminate that. Cat..I did read Some of the info on the oil temps,just not completely convinced its "OK" I guess.New to me truck,and a total diesel noob.Appreciate your help man.

    I just changed the oil to Rotella 5/40 full syn. before this trip,hoping that would make ANY difference....it didn't.I'm not as much worried about the oil breaking down as much as the truck melting down.It does have 35's,but I think it is stock as far as a lift.262* wouldn't make you nervous?
