    Radiator Talk

My Mishimoto V2 just started dripping at about 1 year and 20k miles. I had the Mishimoto original version before that, also about 1 year and 20k miles. My original lasted about 7 yrs and 120k miles (2008 Job 2 truck). When I saw the upgrades on the V2, I really thought that was going to be...

It's cold and it goes into a retard mode

It was warmer today so I drove it around. Seems to run fine when it's warm enough. What are the options to fix this? I see one person moved the blocker plate up by the turbo and relocated the sensor to it. Is that the only fix? Any help on this is appreciated. Also, just curious, how...

It's cold and it goes into a retard mode

I think I may be having the same problem. Temps got down around zero here and boost was doing funny things. Going down the road it would drop to almost 0. If I leaned on the throttle it would lag and then shoot up way higher than normal until I backed off again and then rapid drop to almost...

    Help! SCT "Vehicle not supported"

No, haven't called them yet, but I was going to. Thought I'd put the question out here first to see if anyone else has had this problem and knew what to do.

    Help! SCT "Vehicle not supported"

Yes. That was the first thing I did when I took it out of the box, just like I said above. I don't have any custom tunes yet so I was just going to try to run the canned ones just so I could put on my DPF delete exhaust until I get some Gearhead tunes. Underneath the error, it gives me...

    Help! SCT "Vehicle not supported"

I just got a 9625OR SCT Livewire. I plugged it into the computer and got the updates off the website, just like it said to do. Then I plug it into the truck and try to connect and I get an error "Vehicle not supported". Of course I'm doing this outside SCT support hours so I can't talk to...

    power window thought

I've had the same thought too. Our 2007 Mustang has auto up/down on both sides and I wondered if it would be as easy as a switch change or if there was more to it. I never really went any further than that though.

    Aluminized or Stainless???

Is it worth the price difference to go with stainless over an aluminized exhaust system? How much extra life will you get out of stainless? I live in Iowa so we get some snow and plenty of salty roads in the winter. I'm not sure if there are any other factors that might make a difference or not.

    Jerking while towing

I would have thought axle wrap (at least in my case) would be worse in lower gears. Also happen consistently instead of every once in awhile when the stars align. I'm not saying it's not axle wrap. Just what I would have thought. I may have different issues with similar symptoms than the...

    Jerking while towing

My stock '08 F250 CCSB does a similar thing only not as regular as yours seems to be. I've had it do it with different trailers and even empty when downshifting to 4th to pass cars in the slow lane up big hills. I usually only notice it in 4th, but sometimes I think I feel it slightly in other...

    Anyone else lose this too??

Lost my tailgate cover last night while loading my dirtbike. I see so many SD's without them. As well as these trucks are made, I can't believe this has been a problem for so many years (my dad's had 3 SD's '01 '05 '10 and his have all fallen off). These trucks are made for work yet this this...
