Yea sticker price, not that anyone pays that. Canadian prices, we always get screwed. We've seen a huge sticker price increase lately and we believe it's because GM did the same to offer a larger "discount" but it's a load of crap. It's like putting an item at a sale price that is marginally...
Agreed, most of the 6.0 and 6.4 failures I've seen were caused by lifter failure.
Whenever I have heads off I always reccomend replacing lifters on higher mileage/ hour engines just for that reason.
FICM sync is the communication between the FICM and PCM. There are dedicated communication wires between the two. Have a look at those, especially check the connections at the FICM to make sure they are properly seated.
Would like to know thoughts on this too. I was thinking about a dual stock setup for an up coming build then I saw this. Wondering if they plan on offering a dual stock setup with the billet setup.
I can't get the link to work. But I had a similar decision with my late 99. It was originally deep wedge wood metallic, not very many trucks that colour. Had to paint the whole truck and ended up going with the Blue Jeans Metallic. It wasn't a huge change but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
