Yes, i have. They said there's a ribbon connector inside that comes out or partially off. Something has to be trimmed inside to keep it from happening again. I believe he said it was at the edge of the case, where the two halves come together. Im not 100% on that though. I had them repair mine...

What firmware version are you two running? It should be on the sticker on the module. Later versions had a reset added to them for the freezing up.

What about manually turning the fan on, if the pcm is doing it to late? Grounding out the clutch actually works pretty well. An aftermarket controller that could control the pwm would be nice though. Also Combining the fan at 100% and the exhaust brake from the tap shifter works pretty well for...

I was told the RT uses the AT2's casing. I know the RT's I'm running are smoother than my MT's as well.

You could snag a 05-07 PCM from a junkyard and send it to PHP and have them flash a vxcf4 file on it. Or ship your PCM to them and have them bench flash it to a vxcf4. Just an option.
