The E-99 PCM is very limited on available tables. Well worth the money switching over. Honestly there are only a few tuners that even have the mdf files for the auto. Most everyone will tell you they don't support that PCM. I know I don't ever plan to as it's just not worth it. Go buy a later...
Making the power isn't an issue, What i'm curious on is how is urea consumption? Fuel Mileage? Are they turning it off solely, With that being done has any of them actually gone through emmission testing with them to see what all is the boundaries to pass?
HP Tuners is about the only thing worth a **** on 6.4 just don't look at timing though for most all the tuners out there!! It would make even themselves cringe if they knew what timing they were running on their own tunes...
Ok so I'm not sure how many guys on here tune and how many are just here to read but let's talk about 6.7 Emission compliant tuning.
So from what I can find most big companies are starting to do it. Has anyone actually put a tuned emission in tact truck through emission testing? This is not...
So on the ******d 15 6.7 powerstrokes. do the injector cal codes matter? I know on the cummins most tuners just disable them and go on with life. Injectors are from Ford.
Thanks in advance.
When a 6.4 breaks it usually ins't cheap I think is what he is getting at. These trucks are really pretty solid enough that when they break they go for BROKE!! Usually the main issues are emissions (2-6k depending on ****** or replace), Turbos (3-6k), Headgaskets (4-12k depending on injectors...
I pulled the turbo of awhile ago and checked that. Everything is lined up and has full range of motion with no hangups. The vgt does sound like it is responding correctly as well.
