E4od occasional slipping
Probably not your issue, but the winter months I found that the rear brake shoes would freeze themselves to the drums overnight when the parking brake was set, especially if I had been out in wet weather. It seemed like transmission issues when it happened (no forward or reverse, just bogging)...- Patrick Feeley

Door lock help!
It's from my 1994 factory service manual (Body/Chassis volume). I mainly use my DVD versions (I have 1996-2001), except for the Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manuals (EVTMs) which I have in paper (94 and 97). Cheers!- Patrick Feeley

no start, hpop reservoir empting when sitting
Only thing I can think of for draining when sitting would be the "short circuit valve" leaking. See the attached. Cheers!- Patrick Feeley

Will a 1996 F6TZ-9A451-F engine wiring harness work on a 1997 f250 HD ?
Looking at the factory EVTM diagrams, it looks like there might be some differences (there is some "weirdness" around the 97 EVTM info on the TPS wiring for one). I'll have to take a deeper dive if I have the time. Cheers!- Patrick Feeley

Can I swap two injectors?
The different injector (long lead type) was a Super Duty specific thing to address the infamous "cackle" problem. It does not apply to your 96. You can swap the injectors. Don't forget to remove the fuel and oil that will drain into the cylinders before restarting! You don't want to...- Patrick Feeley

MAP frequency and pressure should move under load. BARO really shouldn't unless you're going up/down in altitude. Cheers!- Patrick Feeley

Which mechanical gauges to pair with CTS3?
Pyrometer, boost, and trans temp (if auto trans). Maybe oil pressure if you prefer to use MAP for boost. Cheers!- Patrick Feeley

ZF tranny reverse switch location
Yeah, on a stock ZF5, it's the only wiring that goes to the trans. I did have a trans temp gauge fitting to mine. Maybe these will help the OP as well. Cheers!- Patrick Feeley
