The spring and valve on the top of the stand pipe in the filter housing broke off. Is it safe to run the truck while waiting for a new one? When I get the new one can I just pull filter, fix it and put filter back in? I believe it is just a high pressure relief valve in case filter gets plugged...

Mine was doing this also. I routed the vent between the cab and bed so it was higher than the aux tank and problem was solved. My brother had to do the same with his. Both trucks don't have the check valve. My dads truck has the check valve but most of the time it doesn't let the aux tank drain...

My truck was doing the same thing. I had a spare ipr so I swapped solenoids and it solved my problem (and didn't make a mess in the valley).

Had two of these beasts when I was younger. They were our baling tractors. I spend a lot of time sleeping on those fenders and then, when I was old enough, driving them. We got rid of ours when they had around 7000 hours.

I'm in quebec. I'm going to call some dealerships in Vermont just to see if they have any injectors in stock. Truck is obviously still under warranty and the diesel tech is usually very good so we will see.

Brought the truck to the dealer this morning. They say it's the injector in #4 cylinder shat the bed. Unfortunately they can't get the part until Friday. There are none available in Canada. Hopefully it will be ready to go Friday afternoon.
