No need to be nervous. It's a pretty easy job like the others have said and it's so much nicer to drive and I don't have to worry about any of the emissions stuff crapping out.
Any problems at all with it? I saw on another forum that a couple people found bad welds and peeling paint on theirs. Debating between that and a PJ maybe.

The sensors that it is looking at are all in the DPF so will show lower temps as the exhaust is downstream and cooling. Those aren't the proper EGT temps to monitor. You will need to put a sensor in the exhaust manifold.
Looking good! I did the same (minus the intercooler) and am enjoying all of it and the mileage gains. The intercooler and piping will be my next upgrade!
I packed mine with dielectric grease and then put a layer of electrical tape, a layer of 10mil pipe tape and then used a zip tie to make sure the tape wouldn't come undone. No problems so far.
