I have a 99 f350 7.3 4r100 trans I installed the lockup switch today. It's nothing fancy, I just tapped into the wire from the TCC solenoid and the PCM and ran that to a switch and ran a ground wire to the switch to ground out the signal and lock the torque converter up and it works fantastic...
Far as I know it's the factory one. I'm leaning towards the IPR now because I disconnected the ICP and the truck still ran the same. Can you get just the coil or solenoid piece of the IPR and replace that..or do you have to get the whole unit

Had this on my late 99. Checked all connections and under valve cover harnesses everything was fine. Turned out to be an injector. Installed new injector problem solved
