Changed the CPS on it last night and seemed like it quit the hiccups for now and smoothed idle out some. Problem is the CPS that came out was brand new, changed by the shop he brought it to, could it have been an aftermarket sensor and not Ford replacement that failed with less than 50 miles on...

For now I'm just going to keep doubling up on additive until I can replace the inferior fuel separation system, I hate putting all my trust in an additive...

That's what i originally wanted to post, I'm thinking the seperater is inferior to other systems. It doesn't make sense to me that other trucks are having separation and my 6.7 isn't with the same fuel, kind of makes me worry

I'm wondering if the separator is not very efficient. Some of the big rigs I used to service seems like they had a ton of water in the separators when I'd drain them. I know they are passing way more fuel through them but still makes me a little paranoid

I did a little real world testing to see how much water is in the diesel where I fill up. I waited 2 months to drain my water separator and didn't get much if any water in my fuel. Are you guys getting much separation when you're drsining yours or do you just drain it and never really worry...

I'm the exact opposite, man mine rides like crap compared to a factory truck. I see yours came with the pro comp alas, mine didn't just the radias drops. Did you ever drive it with the mx6s?

Man that's nothing compared to trucks I've seen including my 7.3, but better safe then sorry. I'd keep an eye on my fluid levels and a old trick if you think it's your coolant is to mark your coolant level with a washable marker on the resivoir cold and check it cold every morning.

With 4.5 icon your going to have to trim to run 37s, with 13.5s I'm almost 100% you're going to rub, both the rims you listed will 'work'. Look up the suspension section. My personal preference would be go 7" icon and be done with no issues

Could you re clear them with an automotive style clear after the retro process was done to eliminate the flaking? Trying to decide if I want to try this or not. Got a buddy that runs a paint shop that could clear them for free

Has anyone used urathane to seal these? My family owns a glass shop and that's what they seal windshields with, it doesn't take much, it's some bad sh*t

May be, and he might can get away with it but just from in the past I have ran into the small details that may come in the 8" kit with the added 2"s that doesn't come with the 6". I agree though just do a little research on the 2 kits and make your choice
