I have a scangaugeII which I have heard a few members say it works fine on their 1997 which is what I have. Scangauge says there are exceptions on 97 Ford Diesels, but I imagine it still works just not all functions?

I drove it 4 hours today. Same haze, runs great, no codes. So I'm not really sure. It does seem like it has a stutter from time to time running down the interstate but I don't notice anything funny on the dd and no codes
I'm guessing injectors but I don't know what to do about it.

same here! Im not building full chassis though. I do use only 1.75" .120 DOM though. Its a good size.
Do you use an software or bend on the fly? I just bend on the fly and it works out pretty well once you get in the swing of things.
nah its cool, i understand where you are coming from with your measurements. Would some not call it wheel travel and also call it suspension travel? Im just asking. In the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter to me what amount of travel I actually have it seems to be enough for what i do. ;)...

your not at all. I may have measured wrong and its been a while but I believe I measured out at the hub and cycled the suspension without coils on the shocks.
is there a different way people measure it?
